CDE once more launches connections at discount prices

25,000 water connections at discount prices are now available to Cameroonians. This operation is part of a programme to improve access to drinking water for Cameroonian households.

The customer shall be expected to pay only 10% of the total connection quotation exclusive of tax, plus the full amount of his/her subscription fees.

The programme for new connections at discounted prices, to run for a period of 12 to 15 months, is open to all who may want to connect their dwellings to the Camerounaise des Eaux (CDE) drinking water supply network. It holds only for new connections that are accompanied with a subscription.

This programme is being funded by the African Development Bank (ADB) to the tune of one and half billion CFA francs and the International Development Agency (IDA), an affiliate of the World Bank (WB), in the sum of one billion CFA francs. The funds were made available to CAMWATER who signed a contract with CDE for its implementation.
